Formwork and reinforcing steel installed in preparation for the slab of the new multipurpose building

Demolition work is underway in the school hall and the concrete slab has been poured for the new multipurpose building
- 14 May 2010 - Florey Primary School P21
Wall sheeting has been installed and the electrical rough-in of the refurbished canteen has been completed.

The school hall and canteen have been handed back to the school as the refurbishment of these areas is complete. Work continues on the new multipurpose building. The steel frame has been completed and brickwork has commenced.

Work is continuing on brickwork for the new multipurpose building and roofing work is scheduled to start next week. Refurbishment of the portico to the school hall is well advanced.

Roof insulation has been installed, work is underway installing the roof sheeting and the windows have been installed in the new building. The portico to the school hall has been completed.

Roofing work is finished and the electrical rough-in is underway. The next stage will be the installation of wall and ceiling sheeting.
- 14 Jul 2010 - Florey Primary School P21
Inside the new building, wall and ceiling sheeting is being installed. Outside, brick paving is being laid in the large courtyard formed between new and existing buildings.
- 08 Aug 2010 - Florey Primary School P21
The installation of internal wall and ceiling sheeting has been completed. The laying of brick paving in the external courtyard is finished, and the construction of footpaths is underway.
- 25 Aug 2010 - Florey Primary School P21
An operable wall has been installed so that the large general learning area can be divided when necessary, making the use of the space very flexible. Joinery is being installed and interior painting is the next stage of the building work.

The new multipurpose building has been completed and was handed over to the school on 6 September 2010. The BER Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the work will be held on 3 December 2010.
