18 May 2010 - Electrical rough in completed, window frames being installed in the new Performing Arts building.
31 May 2010 - This photo shows newly installed wall sheeting in what will be a Shared Learning Area. The recessed area in the centre will be fitted out as a kitchenette.
19 Jun 2010 - The external walls feature areas of coloured, glazed bricks. This photograph shows the brickwork almost completed.
19 Jun 2010 - The exterior of the new building. The roofing has been finished and the external cladding and brickwork is completed. The next stage will be the installation of the windows.
28 Jun 2010 - Ceiling battens have been fitted ready for the ceiling sheeting to be installed. In this photograph of one of the six new classrooms being constructed, low level louvres can be seen under the window. This is one of the design features that will help to make the building more energy efficient, by providing natural cross-flow ventilation and reducing the dependence on air-conditioning.
06 Jul 2010 - Work is currently underway on installing the heating, ventilation and cooling systems for the building. These are ventilation shafts.
06 Jul 2010 - These bifold doors will fold completely out of the way to give unimpeded access from the Performing Arts Building to what will be a paved area outside. This gives the ability for a performance or presentation to use the doorway as a stage, while the audience uses the paved area as outdoor seating.
14 Jul 2010 - The bifold doors seen from outside. Installation of windows and glazing throughout the building has been completed.
14 Jul 2010 - Work on the installation of ceilings has finished. With lighting fixtures now installed throughout the building, the electrical fit-off is close to completion.
14 Jul 2010 - A wall recess shown in a previous photograph is now being fitted out as a kitchenette. Joinery is also being installed in the wet area of the practical activities space.
08 Aug 2010 - A concrete forecourt is being laid as part of the hard landscaping work being done outside the building.
08 Aug 2010 - The classrooms have boldly coloured feature walls which echo the coloured panels on the exterior of the building. This photograph shows an operable wall, which can be either opened or closed to give more flexible use of the teaching space.
25 Aug 2010 - A view of one of the new classrooms. The building has been completed and was handed over to the school on 24 August 2010.
10 Sep 2010 - An image of a completed classroom taken after the new building was handed over to the school.
10 Sep 2010 - A different view of the completed building, which provides six new classrooms, a multipurpose area with kitchenette and a shade awning adjoining the building. It was handed over to the school on 24 August 2010.
