Kingsford Smith School received funding from the Australian Government to undertake the following infrastructure projects at the school:
1. National School Pride (NSP) Program – installation of new $200,000 shade structures.

2. Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) Program – improvements to the stage area in the school’s assembly hall/gymnasium building, including new lighting and sound system at a cost of $500,000.
