Building the Education Revolution Projects
Macquarie Primary School received funding from the Australian Government to undertake the following infrastructure projects at the school:
1. National School Pride (NSP) Program – installation of two shade structures over existing sandpit at a cost of $125,000.

2. Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) Program – extension of an existing classroom to re-locate the library and refurbishment of the existing library to create a new flexible learning area at a cost of $2.03 million.

A BER Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Macquarie Primary P21 project will be held on 18 March 2011

The educational courtyard now has a painted on chessboard, which can be also used for other games. Some minor works, such as the installation of the water tanks, still remain to be done.
