26 Mar 2010 - Existing school building prior to works commencing to extend the building to create a new school library and computer lab.
28 May 2010 - This photo shows waffle pods which have been installed ready for the slab pour. These will assist with slab insulation.
08 Jun 2010 - The slab has been poured on top of the waffle pods and now needs to cure to achieve the required structural strength. The photo shows that a part of the original building has been demolished to make way for the extension.
08 Jun 2010 - This image shows how the existing building has been gutted internally ready for the building work.
25 Jun 2010 - The steel frame for the extension is being erected. The area under the part of the roofline visible to the left of the photograph will be the computer lab. The right hand area will house the new library and General Learning Area.
25 Jun 2010 - Formwork has been constructed for a set of steps to lead into an educational courtyard.
06 Jul 2010 - Installation of the new library's roof has begun, and is expected to take between one and two weeks to complete.
26 Jul 2010 - The new construction which will house the library, computer lab and General Learning Area is progressing, while the old building just seen on the right is being refurbished.
08 Aug 2010 - A band storage area designed to house instruments was built as part of the refurbishment of the old library (now a flexible learning area).
08 Aug 2010 - The new flexible learning area, which was created in the space previously occupied by the old library, has been completed and was handed back to the school on 3 August 2010.
08 Aug 2010 - In the new library and computer lab building, the internal wall framing has been completed and insulation is now being installed.
25 Aug 2010 - A kitchenette in the flexible learning area has a roller shutter to enable it to be closed off when desired.
25 Aug 2010 - Outside the new building a portico entrance is being constructed to provide shade and shelter.
25 Aug 2010 - An image showing a similar view to a previous photo taken on 8 August shows the progress made since then in the new part of the building. The walls and ceiling have been clad with sheeting and prepared ready for painting, and the electrical rough-in is complete. Work is moving fast and is currently ahead of shedule.
10 Sep 2010 - This image shows internal glazed partition walls being installed prior to painting work starting.
29 Sep 2010 - Painting work has finished and the library is ready for carpet to be laid. This image shows the library office on the left and a student research area on the right.
29 Sep 2010 - The carpet has been laid, and a temporary cover has been put down to protect it while work is still going on. The small alcove at the end of the library is intended as a quiet and sunny reading nook.
29 Sep 2010 - The concrete surface in this educational courtyard will be made interesting by the installation of a large-scale chessboard with large moveable chess pieces for the students to use.
12 Oct 2010 - A chessboard, which can also be used for other games, has been painted onto the concrete in the educational courtyard outside the library.
19 Jan 2011 - Wet area in studio with windows designed to maximise natural sunlight and blinds to reduce glare
