Building the Education Revolution Projects

Palmerston District Primary School received funding from the Australian Government to undertake the following infrastructure projects at the school:

1. National School Pride (NSP) Program – installation of a new $182,000 covered outdoor learning area over the existing multi-purpose court.

2. Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) Program – construction of a new $2.57 million multi-purpose building, including two new classrooms, a practical activities area and student facilities.

A BER Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Palmerston District Primary School P21 project will be held on 11 March 2011

  • 29 Sep 2010 - Palmerston District Primary P21

Work is still underway on the external walls of the building, where upper level panelling will soon be installed. The next stage will be the installation of the windows, and the beginning of the electrical rough-in.
