Building the Education Revolution Projects

Weetangera Primary School received funding from the Australian Government to undertake the following infrastructure projects at the school:

1. National School Pride (NSP) Program – installation of a new $150,000 shade structure

2. Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) Program – construction of a new $2.5 million multi-purpose building, including two new classrooms and a shared learning area linked to an outdoor multi-purpose area.

The BER Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the completion of work at the school was held on 3 September 2010.

  • 25 Aug 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21

All work on the new multipurpose building is complete, and the it was handed over to the school on 20 August 2010.
