Concrete slabs have been poured. Ground works continuing
- 20 May 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
The steel frame, the blockwork and the electrical rough in have been completed for the multipurpose building, and windows are currently being installed. The slab and the roof sheeting have been installed for the outdoor multipurpose area.
- 31 May 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
Work on installing internal wall and ceiling linings is underway. Internal painting work and the fitting off of services is expected to start within the next two weeks.
- 09 Jun 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
All the windows have been istalled, and wall and ceiling sheeting is installed. Interior painting is underway and tiling has begun in the wet areas. The building work should be reach lock-up stage by the end of this week.

With the building at lock-up stage, internal fit-out work is proceding. Gas heating has just been installed.
- 29 Jun 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
The external cladding of the building has been completed and the scaffolding removed. Inside, detailed fit-out work is still going on.

Sunshades have been installed to the outside of the building to shade the windows in summer, external paving is under construction, and the outdoor multipurpose area has been completed, with railing installed and the roof lined. Some finishing work is still being done inside the building.

The new building is nearing completion, with the laying of floor covering and some minor internal finishing work still to be done.
- 25 Aug 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
All work on the new multipurpose building is complete, and the it was handed over to the school on 20 August 2010.
- 13 Sep 2010 - Weetangera Primary P21
The BER Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the completion of work at the school was held on 3 September 2010.
