Union Collective Agreements

Current Agreements

What are Union Collective Agreements?

Collective Agreements are the primary source of employment conditions in the Department.

Collective Agreements are negotiated between the relevant union(s), employees and the Department in accordance with the Workplace Relations Act 1996.
Each agreement must be approved by a majority of employees who vote prior to lodgement with the Workplace Authority. Collective Agreements should be read in conjunction with the relevant Industrial Awards, Legislation and Standards.
