Web accessibility is the practice of designing online tools so people living with disability can use them. It focuses on ensuring that people can:

  • navigate and interact with web content
  • perceive and understand information
  • engage with the web.

Our commitment

The ACT Government commits to ensuring that its websites are accessible. It is committed to meeting a range of accessibility standards. Our websites aim to meet to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines External Link version 2.1 (WCAG2.1)External Link developed by W3C. Specifically:

  • Level A (Full compliance)
  • Level AA (Full compliance)
  • Level AAA (Where possible).
