Introductory English Centres
Most ACT schools provide special English language help for children with non-English speaking backgrounds. Specialist centres provide intensive English language tuition for students with little or no English. They may attend full-time for up to nine months to improve their knowledge of the English language to enable them to take their places in normal school classes.
