The Rotary Club of Canberra City and the ACT Department of Education and Training, together with partner organisations, are presenting the annual Canberra Careers Market on 6 and 7 August 2008 at the Australian Institute of Sport, Bruce, ACT.

The Canberra Careers Market is a wonderful opportunity for students and visitors who are searching for a career direction. You will be able to talk to providers such as the Canberra Institute of Technology, the Australian National University and the University of Canberra, as well as many other educational providers and employers.

Try’a Trade will have a large array of trades displayed where students and visitors alike, can have a hands on experience with trades.

There will also be a myfuture lab, where students can access an on-line national career program.

Career counselling stalls will be available where qualified career advisors will be on hand to talk about career options.

The ACT Careers Market is a joint venture between the Rotary Club of Canberra City and the ACT Department of Education and Training. Entry to the Canberra Careers Market is free. Free buses will also be provided by the Department of Education and Training to transport students to and from ACT schools and colleges to the Canberra Careers Market.
