The Library is both the teaching resources centre for all government and Non-Government schools in the ACT and the departmental library for the ACT Department of Education and Training.
Membership
- All employees, administrative, professional and teaching, of the Department
- Teachers at registered non-government or independent schools in the ACT
- Teachers currently employed by the Canberra Institute of Technology
- Relief Teachers currently registered with the Department
- Tertiary students of education doing practical teaching in the ACT. Membership is restricted to limited borrowing rights only, no research service is offered.
- Home-educators currently registered with the Department.

The Library staff can meet your "work-initiated" information requirements using our extensive library collection, available databases via Departmental subscription or the Internet provided you are an eligible and registered borrower.
