Course Description

Count Me In Too focuses on how students develop key early number concepts and the strategies they use to solve arithmetic tasks. The program’s researched based Learning Framework in Number (LFN) underpins the assessment schedules and provides direction for teaching. The two diagnostic interview assessment schedules, the Schedule for Early Number Assessment 1(SENA 1) and the Schedule for Early Number Assessment 2 (SENA 2), provide teachers with information on students’ understanding and strategies in solving challenging problems.

Targeted Audience

This professional development course is for primary and middle school teachers.

Workshop Options

This is a six hour course of 3 X 2 hours sessions:

Workshop 1: LFN & SENA 1
Workshop 2: LFN & SENA 2
Workshop 3: Analysis of Assessment Data
Teachers may choose to attend Workshop 1 or 2, but must attend workshop 3.
