Course Description

This program fills a gap for teachers in upper primary and high schools (Years 5 to 8) who are looking to explore and improve their understanding of and skills in teaching the foundational concepts in number. It has a strong assessment focus with explicit links to activities that promote a sense-making approach to number, specifically targeting place value, multiplication and division.

Targeted Audience

This program supports upper primary and high school teachers.

Workshop Options

This course consists of 3 x 2 hour workshops.

Attendance at all three workshops is essential.
