Course Description

This workshop looks at how to teach grammar, in context, within a Balanced Literacy Program. It focuses on two purposes for teaching grammar:

  • to help students understand how language works and
  • to help students use their language more effectively

There are two different modules available, one for primary teachers and one for high school teachers.

Targeted Audience

This professional development supports primary and high school teachers.

Workshop Options

This is a 4 hour PD made up of 2 x 2 hours sessions.

The modules are tailored for primary or high school teachers.
