Course Description
Guided Reading is a procedure that enables teachers to support students in small groups who use similar reading strategies. This workshop focuses on providing scaffolds as students develop a wider range of strategies. Different models of grouping and organisation are shown with participants having the opportunity to plan within the Balanced Literacy Program.
Targeted Audience
This workshop supports early childhood, primary and middle school teachers.
Workshop Options
This is a stand-alone workshop made up of a 2 hour session.
