Course Description

This is a two part professional learning course for teachers K –8 who are currently implementing the Count Me In Too (CMIT) number program in their classroom. In Workshop 1 participants explore how carefully selected activities can address the learning needs of students at various developmental stages on the Learning Framework in Number. They are asked to trial a similar process in their own classrooms and document their learning and questions. In Workshop 2, participants reflect on and discuss their own action learning. There is a focus on pedagogies that align teaching, learning and assessment. Teachers are provided with a model for the ongoing effective implementation of CMIT at a classroom level.

Targeted Audience

This professional development course is for primary and middle school teachers.

Workshop Options

This is a 4-hour course of 2 x 2 hour workshops.

Participants must attend both workshops.
