Commencing a Block Release Australian Apprenticeship

A small number of Australian Apprenticeships qualifications are not delivered by any ACT RTO and Australian Apprentices in Training Contracts must travel interstate to undertake their structured training. These qualifications are identified on the current year's ACT Australian Apprenticeships Register External Link and are usually delivered in blocks of time, rather than the usual one day per week.

Contact Details of the interstate RTOs delivering these qualifications can be found on the Interstate Block Release RTO Contact Sheet ( pdf 13kb) .

Further information on how block release works and how to apply for financial support can be found on the Block Release Information Sheet ( pdf 49kb).

The Interstate Block Release - Application for Travel Support ( pdf 45kb) form must be sent to Training and Tertiary Education if you want to receive a contribution towards your travel and accommodation.
