ACT Industry Training Needs Consultation Forums

Each year the ACT Department of Education and Training administers ACT and Australian Government funding totalling approximately $23 million for a variety of programs related to the vocational education and training (VET), and community education.
Through a process of targeting training funds based on skills needs identified by business and government, the Department aims to support the cost of training in areas which will be of most benefit to the Territory.  In 2010 the Department provided an opportunity for each industry sector to give us their views.  The Consultation Forums were held from March to May 2010 and were a way for you to tell us exactly what you anticipated your future training needs to be.
