The ACT Industry Training Needs 2011-2012 are prepared in response to industry and community consultation about the expected future vocational education and training requirements of the ACT workforce and community in general. 
A full list of the training needs identified by each broad industry sector is provided separately for convenience. (Note that industries have been categorised into broad sectors based on similar lines to that adopted by the National Industry Skills Councils).

The evidence supporting the ACT Industry Training Needs List 2011-12 combines the outcomes of quantitative and qualitative research conducted at both the local and national levels. For ease of access to the supporting information, the research and conclusions are presented in separate sections organised by broad industry sectors. A separate introductory section is also included. (NB: It is expected that the supporting evidence will be published by the end of January 2011).
