2012 Sustainability Champions Scholarship Program
Applications are now open for the 2012 Sustainability Champions Scholarship Program. Applications are invited from vocational education and training practitioners to undertake the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Education and Training for Sustainability.Applications for the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Education and Training for Sustainability are now being accepted through the National Centre of Sustainability, Swinburne University of Technology (VIC) in partnership with the North Coast TAFE (NSW) and Tropical North Institute of TAFE (QLD).
There are eighty fully funded places available nationwide for the course which will be allocated through a competitive application process. The places have been made available under the National VET Sector Skills for Sustainability Professional Development Program and funded by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education. Course tuition and enrolment costs will be fully subsidised.
The program is designed to support VET practitioners (teachers, trainers, assessors and managers) working in the education and training sector seeking to learn how to embed education for sustainability in their teaching and learning.
The course will run for twelve months, commencing in late March 2012.
To apply, you must complete and submit the Sustainability Champions Scholarship Program Application Form and have the endorsement of your RTO.
Applications close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday 29 February 2012.
